My topic of choice was body image and how it affects adolescents and the thesis statement of my paper is "Body image has been an ongoing struggle in American society for years because adolescents compare themselves to what they see in the media, they are questioning their self-worth, and it can lead to eating disorders."
Historically, how has America met the basic and social needs of the people?
When basic or social needs of people are not met, how does the U.S. government respond to these social justice issues?
How has examining your social topic expanded or changed you perspective on teen advocacy? How do you plan to apply what you learned to your personal life and advocating for social change?
