Intro to Spanish

Picture
  1. What does Spanish mean to me?
  2. Why is learning/knowing more than one language important?
  3. What topics do I want to learn about in this class?
  4. What am I excited about in this class?
Personally, I have no relations to the Spanish language. But since I am Filipino, the Tagalog and Spanish language have similarities. Learning/knowing more that one language is important because when you travel abroad, it's nice to be able to speak in that country's native language. In addition, knowing more that one language is a way for people to bond and learn about other cultures. In Spanish class, I would like to learn more about the traditions that Spanish speaking countries have. For this class, I am excited to see myself grow as a Spanish speaker. I don't have much confidence when speaking in Spanish because I always feel like I might mispronounce something or don't know how to say a word.
